My Garden is getting set up nice. The bird feeders have attracted many different birds that Jonah and Lucy love to look at each morning.
The blueberry bush is now thriving in the ground. It hated its pot.
Next year I will work on digging up the bushes and planting flowers, I think.

I like it!
Thanks!
Very nice! I saw some of these on Flickr and figured you’d make a post out of them soon.
One thing to consider: you may not want to entirely remove your bushes next year (at least not the ones closest to the building). Instead, you may just want to plant flowers in front of them. When winter comes around, it is nice to have something that will still give shape to your landscaping so that you don’t just see straight to the foundation. You are still in IN right (where winter is relatively long), right? I’m not sure if I’ve seen you say where you are located these days. Bushes covered in snow can be pretty in the winter.
Yes, we are still in Indiana. I was only thinking of removing the bushes that are in this funky formation that stick out towards the front of the yard. I really like the ones that are up against the foundation because they are trimmed and well-kept. I don’t think I want to take the work of digging them up because they are big bushes. There are some small scraggly ones that were planted this year that lay flat and take up more ground than they should (they weren’t pruned properly), so those will have to go, I think.
And I agree, I really like snow covered bushes!
